Got to school at 7:30 and was there teaching/planning/meeting until 4:00.  8.5 hours at school

The life of a teacher includes realizing on certain days that your students are lost.  On days like that, I have to rethink what we need to do next.  Often that includes creating something new...today was such a day.  My students STRUGGLED with the content so I took their work from class today and created a student work evaluation activity based on it.  Then, I designed a partner activity to use as closure.  Both things I haven't done before.  It's been a LOOONG evening.

Got home and had non-professional things to do from 4-7:45.  Started grading/planning/creating at 7:45.  I'm finishing all that stuff RIGHT NOW. 11:15. 3.5 hours at home.

I'm going to be tired tomorrow.  Please, classroom gods, make tomorrow a day in which students engage with the material and something clicks for them.  I don't really know how else to explain this topic. Feeling at a loss. :(
